Don’t worry—extra yearbooks go on sale Wednesday, May 28th at 7:30 AM in the front office for $45 (cash only). What an unforgettable day at Fossum! 🦅 We started the morning with a warm welcome from our namesake, Michael Fossum himself! Later, we cheered on our former Falcons as they took their final walk through our halls during their Top 10% Senior Walk 👏🏽 And to top it all off, our 6th graders had the incredible opportunity to learn more about Mr. Fossum during a special presentation. A day full of pride, inspiration, and Falcon spirit! ❤️🖤

Our 6th grade Falcons showed out on the track! 💪🏽 From hurdles to relays, this group brought the energy, hustle, and heart. The future of Fossum Athletics is looking bright! 🦅🔥

⚡ Our Percy Jackson–themed Literacy Night was a hit! From demigod challenges to mythological fun, our Falcons dove into reading and adventure like true heroes. Thank you to everyone who made this epic night possible! 📚🦅

🎮 Huge congratulations to our amazing Fossum Esports Team for bringing home 2nd place at the district meet! 🥈👏 — we’re so proud of how you represented our campus. Way to go, Falcons!

🎉 We Did It, Fossum Family! 🎉 We’re thrilled to announce that Fossum Middle School has WON the Beautification Event hosted by McAllen Parks and Rec - Keep McAllen Beautiful! 🌿💐 Thanks to our incredible team effort, we've been awarded $500 for our project! 🙌 This amazing achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our Student Council for organizing the event, our passionate student body, supportive parents, and generous partners at Home Depot, Lowe’s, and our wonderful community members. 💚 Thank you all for helping us keep Fossum—and McAllen—beautiful! 🌎✨

💖Teacher Appreciation Week at FMS was full of celebration, gratitude, and amazing food! 💖 A huge thank you to our admin team, PTO, Booster Club, and all the wonderul members of the community that made this week so special✨ 🍳 Monday started strong with Scooter’s Coffee and Ms. G’s tacos. 🌮 Tuesday, PTO treated us to a delicious taco lunch with rice and beans. 🥘 Wednesday brought enchiladas from Koko’s. 🥩 Thursday’s highlight—steaks grilled on campus by Marco Suarez and amazing sides provided our phenomenal Booster Club! 🧀 And we wrapped up Friday with a beautiful charcuterie spread from Manna Grazing Co. and snack cart from Dolce e Salato, and Girl Scout cookies from a wonderful student! 🍪 We also can't forget to thank Nurse Tovias during National Nurses Week! She takes care of our entire campus—students and staff alike—with so much heart, and we’re incredibly grateful for all she does. 🩺💓 To top it off, our teachers received new devices this week—just in time! Thank you to our DOT tech team for setting up shop in our library and helping make the transition smooth and easy. 💻 What a week to be a Falcon! 🦅💖
