Fossum Visual Arts takes 2nd & 3rd places at Creative Mind Art Challenge! Congratulations to 7th graders, Lilia Moore and Calie Cortez. They were given a prompt and 3 hours to create. Judging was based on creativity, composition, use of media and interpretation of the prompt!

UPDATE: McAllen ISD police department has learned that the male juvenile, who lives out of state, admitted to making the post as a joke. He has no ties to McAllen ISD. He admitted to randomly picking those schools through a Google search. The suspect is currently in police custody. No credible threat.
We ensure our McAllen ISD community that we take these sorts of threats and social media posts seriously. Charges will be pressed on any sort of threats. Local, state and federal agencies take these posts seriously and fully investigate.
